The Hepatitis B vaccine is another recommended shot. Many doctors include this shot in the series they give babies, but if you haven’t had this series of shots, it may be a good idea for you to get vaccinated.

Pregnant mothers should take precautions to keep themselves, and their baby healthy

Women who are pregnant, or have recently had a child, should also stay on top of their vaccinations. Many obstetricians will recommend you get a flu shot to keep you healthy as possible during your pregnancy. Other shots such as Tdap, which covers tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis, are also recommended for women who are expecting. These vaccines not only keep you healthy, but prevent your baby from catching these illnesses as well.
